In 2012, VR Autism's National Advisory Panel found Project SEARCH as an effective program. Our project focused on the two ASD specific project search sites for inclusion into our effective program categorization. Project SEARCH is a one-year, school-to-work program for young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities including ASD. The innovative workforce and career development model benefits the individual, the workplace, and the community. We'll hear about the Project Search model and how the New York Collaborates for Autism has adapted this model specifically for people with ASD.
