Описание: Occidental California is a quaint town of some 1,100 people about fifteen miles West of Santa Rosa. Two very important reasons people travel there are two very famous and wonderful, old style, Italian restaurants, the Union Hotel and Negri's Restaurant. In fact, people will gladly travel from San Francisco and Marin County, some two hours away, to have an old world style Italian dinner amid the valley town of Occidental. Occidental has long been famous as an artist colony and in the 1960's and 1970's was famous as a hippy colony with several thriving communes. High property prices killed off the communes, but the flavor of hippy still permeates this cool town. Enjoy!
