What’s good everyone! Welcome back to another video on YouTube.
This is Full Throttle Automotive, and today we’re showcasing an absolute classic with modern muscle—a RestoMod Lifted 1976 Chevrolet Stepside K10 4x4.
This thing is BIG, BLACK, lifted, and street-and-off-road ready. A clean restoration, sitting tall with serious presence, powered by a 350 V8, backed by an automatic transmission, and fully loaded.
Let’s be real—who didn’t want one of these trucks back in the day?
Well, here’s your chance to relive it.
This 1976 Chevy K10 4x4 has clearly enjoyed a major makeover. With its aggressive stance and go-anywhere capability, this truck is built for fun—on the pavement or off the beaten path.
Black is the ultimate pickup truck color, and this Chevy wears it proudly. Originally red from the factory, it was repainted a few years ago, and the finish still looks great today. The paint is glossy, well-applied, and laid over straight sheet metal—clean enough to turn heads, but not so perfect that you’re afraid to actually use it.
The exterior is accented with factory stainless side moldings, chrome bed rails, and updated custom taillights that give it a more modern touch. The bed is fully protected with a spray-in bedliner and a heavy-duty rubber mat, so whether you’re hauling gear or toys, it’s ready.
Inside, the dark red interior stays mostly stock and offers surprising comfort for a 1976 truck. The wide bench seat has been reupholstered and is in excellent condition, while the dash, door panels, and carpeting appear original. This K10 is loaded with factory A/C, power windows, power locks, and a tilt steering column, making it far more comfortable than you’d expect from a classic 4x4.
A newer AM/FM CD stereo sits in the dash, and the sliding rear window paired with vent windows keeps the cabin comfortable when you don’t need the A/C. Rubber floor mats help protect the interior when you’re out getting dirty.
Pop the hood and you’ll find a clean engine bay housing a 350 cubic inch V8, dressed with chrome accents, an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor and intake, Mallory ignition, and a mean-sounding dual exhaust. Power is sent through a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed transfer case, making this drivetrain tough and reliable.
Underneath, the truck features a Skyjacker lift kit, dual shocks at all four corners, twin steering stabilizers, and heavy-duty axles that show signs of recent work. Power steering and power brakes make this lifted beast surprisingly easy to drive.
It sits on Weld wheels wrapped in massive 37x12.50-15 Super Swampers, giving it that unmistakable old-school off-road attitude.
This is a very cool truck—big modifications, classic looks, and undeniable presence.
Admit it… you thought trucks like this were cool when you were a kid.
And honestly—nothing’s changed.
