Today we’re trying a new adoption method, a two-round system that makes the choice feel unmistakably real. A full row of adopters sits perfectly still while the dog walks the line and picks Finalist One. Then we reset, run it again under the exact same rules, and the dog picks Finalist Two.
And then comes the final round. Only those two finalists stay. They sit side by side, hands on their laps, no talking, no reaching, and the dog has to make one last decision. Does it stick with the first pick, switch to the second, or shock everyone at the very last second?
