Описание: Acts 4:36 - Acts 5:11 This is the Ananias and Sapphira incident. We have two examples of generosity toward the church in Jerusalem: Barnabas provides a positive example and Ananias and Sapphira provide a negative example. This passage presents a powerful portrait of the holiness of God and the importance of remaining truthful and faithful as God draws near. While some may want to pretend all passages similar to this one happened in the Old Testament, here we have an example of the severity of God's holiness after the resurrection of Jesus and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.
