There appears to be excitement, even if it's subdued, over the news that the Dangote Petroleum Refinery has slashed the price of Automotive Gas Oil, AGO, that is diesel. The refinery has announced a reduction in the price of the product from 1,200 to 1,000 naira per litre. The development is expected to positively affect all the spheres of the economy, and ultimately reduce the high inflation rate in the country
