Programma per il corso d’organo a Magnano 2020

Durante il corso verranno approfonditi alcuni brani scelti dal repertorio della Scuola organistica tedesca meridionale dei secoli XVII e XVIII. Lo scopo è quello di evidenziare gli stretti rapporti di stile tra questa Scuola e quella italiana, incentrata sulle figure di Frescobaldi e Pasquini. In particolare ci dedicheremo all’opera di Johann Jakob Froberger, Johann Caspar Kerll e Georg Muffat. Sarà comunque possibile analizzare anche altri brani a scelta degli allievi, in linea con le caratteristiche foniche dello strumento a disposizione.

Some of the works chosen in the repertoire of the South German organ school from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries will be studied. The aim is to highlight the close style-relationships between this School and the Italian one, focusing on the figures of Frescobaldi and Pasquini. In particular, we will dedicate ourerselves to the works of Johann Jakob Froberger, Johann Caspar Kerll, Georg Muffat, Johann Pachelbel and Alessandro Poglietti. However. Some of Bernardo Pasquini's "Sonate a due Bassi" will be the subject of Basso Continuo lessons. On request, photocopies of some of the works will be available.


Programma per il corso di basso continuo a Magnano 2020

Analisi di alcuni brani della letteratura italiana, francese e tedesca dei secoli XVII e XVIII. Correlazione sulle differenti modalità esecutive di un medesimo brano in base al tipo di strumento adottato (organo oppure clavicembalo). Lezioni individuali e collettive all’organo e/o al clavicembalo con eventuale partecipazione al concerto finale e alle prove del coro e dei vari gruppi strumentali.

Continuo with analysis of repertoire the most flourished European literature. Correlation on the different methods of execution of a same piece based on the type of instrument adopted (organ or harpsichord). Individual and group lessons at the organ and/or harpsichord with possible participation to the final concert and the choir rehearsals, as well as those of the various instrumental groups.
