Описание: Part 6 of my comparison of various radioactive mineral specimen. Here is a nice specimen of Thorite, found in Mogok, Miranmar. In another Video of applying the RadioactivityCounterApp I show a cut Thorite, which is a quite beautiful gem. Crystals of Thorite are not that common. In the second part of this video we utilized a copper shielding against the beta-rays, in order to demonstrate that usually the iPhone is measuring the total of beta- and gamma-rays. I use an asiatic Geiger-Müller Counter and the RadioactivityCounterApp of HotRay.
