The scheme provides Rs 1500 every month directly into the bank accounts of eligible women. The money is transferred through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system, ensuring transparency and smooth transactions.

To qualify for the scheme, women must meet the following criteria:
Residence: Must be a resident of Maharashtra.
Age: Women aged between 21 to 65 years are eligible.
Priority Group: Preference is given to destitute, widowed women, and those from economically weaker sections.
Income Limit: Annual family income should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh.
Employment Status: No family member should be employed in a government job or be an income tax payer.
Bank Account Requirement: Applicant’s bank account must be linked with Aadhaar and mobile number for direct fund transfer.

Age certificate
