The Boonshoft Museum of Discovery in Dayton, Ohio is a wonderful museum for children to learn and discover more about animals, water, energy, seasons, science, occupations, planets, dinosaurs, etc!

If you are close by - I definitely recommend it! They are also aware of students who may need special assistance/noise and light reduction/etc which I believe is truly awesome!
