This is one of Alfredo's late recordings for the Edison Bell company, made after he had left the New Princes' Restaurant. The song 'Chant Of The Jungle', by Nacio Herb Brown, was featured in the film 'Untamed' in 1930. On this record, there appears to be a second trumpet (or someone 'doubling' on second trumpet), audible in the distance, leading into Alfie Noakes' muted trumpet solos.
