Flexible Grey Waste Pipe Installation on Carthago Motorhome

Описание: Having a flexible waste pipe on a motorhome sometimes makes draining the grey waste tank down a lot easier. Here's how to install a pipe and store it out of the way when not in use.

I have subsequently discovered that the drain down valve and threaded connector were non standard and that those bits had been fitted to the vehicle after production. Most of those valves come in different sizes and can be chosen to suit the pipe coming from the tank.

There are all sorts of ways possible to build a pipe system like this so try and improvise to suit your circumstances and requirements.

When buying your pipe and connectors I strongly suggest going to a well stocked plumbing merchants or somewhere big like B&Q and then you can check everything fits together at the shop. It's easy to get confused with the range of metric, imperial, press fit, threaded and solvent connections of similar but varying dimensions.
