This is the closest matchup in the tournament — and the most dangerous.

Richelieu brings France's finest engineering: a wider immunity zone
(14,200–30,000 yds), superior deck armour, and a heavier 850kg shell that
hits harder at long range. On paper she's the favourite.

But there's a problem. Both of Richelieu's quadruple turrets sit forward of
the superstructure. One lucky 380mm hit could silence four guns at once —
half her battery gone in a single salvo. Bismarck's fore-and-aft arrangement
means the same hit costs her just 25%.

Bismarck's path to victory is clear: close the range, collapse Richelieu's
immunity zone advantage, and find that shot.

Can French armour and gunnery hold out? Or does German engineering and
tactical aggression find the fatal blow?
