Somewhat longer video on the Digital Outputs on the Eversolo DMP-A6 and which to use for your DAC or AVR, and showcasing some of the menu options.
On the DMP-A6 the max output bitrates for the different ports are:
USB: Up to ... PCM 768 kHz/32 bit ; DSD 512 & MQA [highest bit-rate]
COAX: Up to ... PCM 192 kHz/24 bit ; DSD 64 DOP & MQA
OPTICAL: Up to ... PCM 192 kHz/24 bit ; DSD 64 DOP & MQA
HDMI: Up to ... PCM 192 kHz or DSD 64 Native
Therefore I’d suggest to use USB given the highest bitrates / widest range of protocol supported (D2P/DOP/DSD Native). As noted by someone else, the USB also uses the clock on the DAC - which tends to be better than the one on the Eversolo.
