These incredibly sweet looking moths have been bred so much over the years, for humans to harvest their silk that they are starting to lose the ability to escape their cocoon!
This means some of the moths are getting stuck in their cocoons and it’s not a nice thing for them to go through
The domestic silk moth is Called Bombyx mori
I hope to have these again soon, they have a beautiful transformation and lifecycle which is great to watch too
