Over the past few months I have been working with the absolute sweethearts at Swift Designs and Textiles on a few of my pipe dream projects. One of these was a redesign of the simple bandolier. I wanted something that could complement a normal fighting load in the field. As well as something that was simple to keep ammo 'ready' for lesser used firearms or home defense firearms. I made a few simple requests and the guys at SDT blew it out of the park. I am very happy to be able to say I 'collaborated' on this project!

The SDT Camel Tote (or lightfighter camel tote), is a simple two pocket satchel style bandolier designed to be worn over one shoulder. It can carry 10x USGI style AR15 30 rnd magazines, or 8x 30/40rnd pmags, 8x AR308 size magazines, 2x 1 liter Nalgene bottles and 2x mags, 2x claymore anti-personnel land minds, you get the idea. The pouches are generously sized for typical field equipment and practical loadouts. Inside each main pouch you will find a grommeted drain hole, a thick elastic retention band, and a paracord tie down point. Both sides of the camel tote are flanked by laser cut MOLLE webbing so you can expand this however you please. Internal to the pouch is a stiffener keeping the pouch riding flat and from spinning while worn on patrol.

The camel tote is sold with an optional waist strap which feeds through two nylon keepers on the back. I prefer to use a single point "radio sway strap" on mine.
