Seattle Public Schools to update protocols for responding to ICE sightings near schools

Описание: The state's largest school district is launching new rules for how to respond if immigration officers are seen near a school.

The change comes about one week after six south Seattle schools went into a shelter-in-place after unfounded rumors of federal agents near school property.

KOMO News has learned that school staff never saw any ICE activity despite receiving reports of officers in nearby neighborhoods.
