I have been having some fun with my Gabotronics XProtolab AWG on channel 1 and at some point felt like I "broke it". Even after a reboot and playing with the settings for several minutes, I didn't know whether the scope was damaged or whether the AWG output was fried. My square waveform looked odd, the scope didn't refresh and the sweep no longer seemed to work. The FFT showed harmonics of lower amplitudes at higher ranges. Somehow I managed to fix the problem by randomly trying different things. I found out it was because I was using the wrong settings with my divisions/sec and needed to adjust some of the settings that the sweep had changed.

XMega Xprotolab from Gabotronics is a neat little device in my toolkit. It is cheap enough that I can afford to experiment and I look forward to playing more with it and showing off the features and some of my applications.
