Start by duplicating the original website that has the domain name. Click on the three dots next to that site and choose “Duplicate Website.” Select your current hosting plan to complete the duplication process. Hostinger will then create a copy of your site with a temporary or “ugly” domain.

Once the duplicated version is ready, return to the Websites list. You must now release the domain from the original site by deleting it. Click on the three dots again, select “Delete,” confirm by checking the box and clicking delete again. This will free up your domain name.
