It is a Bangla folk song sang by artiste Johura Alim. She is the daughter of well known Bangladeshi folk artiste Abdul Alim, who was a student of Ustad Mumtaz Ali Khan. Ustad Mumtaz Ali Khan was Bengal's folk-lore maestro. He was a very well-known composer, lyricist, singer and teacher.
He was awarded Ekushey Padak in 1981 by the Government of Bangladesh. It is a collection of Ustad Mumtaz Ali Khan's songs from BTV.
