Bamboo Stick Vesak Lantern is on of most popular lantern in Sri Lanka. Main Skeleton is made with Bamboo stick and decorated using colorful tissue papers. This lantern is environment friendly and all are natural resources are used. This type of lanterns can be used as lamp Shades or as any other decoration purposes. You can try this as DIY project.
Materials used ,
Bamboo Sticks
30 inch X 6 (For Main Column)
24 inch X 36 (For Triangles)
08 inch X 18 (For the supports of the star skeleton)
You can Prepare the lantern as in the Video tutorial (Part 01) and use any color combination for the decoration (Part 02). Also you can try different color bulbs to gain more attractiveness for the lantern.
