Reading Comprehension: Scientific Passages (from Easy to Hard)

It starts with investing time to understand the process / relationship / debate that will be at the heart of the passage. If you understand that, you are set. The harder the passage, the harder the relationship, but if you try to skip over it, the questions will get really confusing.

Some of the reading comprehension advice overlaps with other videos, such as critical engagement, stop and summarise and slow reading, but a lot else is new.

The final question is truly hard reading comprehension. And the advice is not just applicable to GRE reading comprehension (RC) but to GMAT reading comprehension, and reading comprehension for exams.

The GRE and GMAT are two of most used graduate exams for those seeking to study a Masters Degree or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree. The Graduate Record Exam and Graduate Management Admissions Test have been taken for over 50 years and are taken by approximately 600,000 and 300,000 people worldwide annually, respectively. These exams are typically taken between the ages of 18-40, by those who have completed, or are about to complete, their Bachelors Degree.
