This video explains why Giovanni Falcone was different: he treated Cosa Nostra like a business (bank records, wire transfers, heroin profits), broke the code of silence by flipping a top boss, and built the Maxi Trial that put hundreds of mafiosi in cages and delivered life sentences. Then the real hook: killing him was a strategic mistake. The bombing triggered a national backlash, unlocked the anti-mafia machine he designed to outlive him, and pushed Italy into the crackdown that finally cornered the bosses.
