Without the use of synthetic herbicides (RoundUp), Organic farms have to resort to mechanic removal of weeds. Because of the abnormal amount of rain this year in California, we have not been able to get into the field to mow weeds because of the mud. Now that the ground is drying up, we are getting back on track with our mowing. This short shows our four main methods of weed management: flail mower, batwing mower, sickle bar, and weedeaters.
