The Martin D-18 Authentic guitar comes in 2 varieties: The standard D-18 Authentic VTS, AND the D-18 Authentic AGED. Both instruments are modeled after the 1939 Martin D-18. The biggest difference is that the D-18 Aged is a relic'd version of the D-18 Authentic 1939. It's also worth noting that some say the AGED version sounds a little more broken in, and there's no denying that it looks more broken in. In this video, Spoon Phillips takes us through some different playing styles and educates us on the specs as well. Careful - don't scratch it! :D
