INSIGHT/ONSITE: A CREATIVE MUSIC RETREAT WITH MIKE BLOCK
Inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s philosophy of “learning by doing," Insight/Onsite: A Creative Music Retreat with Mike Block, a program offered by the Fallingwater Insitute, is for musicians of diverse stylistic backgrounds to nurture composition, improvisation and creativity in a collaborative setting.
Fellows enjoy individual creative time in the spaces of Wright’s beautifully designed Fallingwater, a site on the UNESCO World Heritage List, as well as in the natural surroundings of the Bear Run Nature Reserve.
The Insight/Onsite workshop, under the direction of Grammy Award-winning Cello Player Mike Block, culminates in a live performance held in the Living Room at Fallingwater.
