A decade-long wait for justice with court visits taking up two of those years ended on this day for the family of Sushil Pal, a gynaecologist allegedly murdered in 2004 for his refusal to carry out an illegal abortion.
A Howrah court on Monday held eight people, including a former CPM leader and a lady doctor, guilty of the murder of gynaecologist Sushil Pal 10 years ago. Four others were convicted of trying to wipe out evidence.
