David Orobosa Omoregie[2] (born 5 June 1998), known professionally as Dave, is a British rapper, singer, songwriter, pianist, record producer and actor.[3][4][5] Dave released his debut EP Six Paths in 2016 after the release of a number of successful singles including "Thiago Silva".

In 2016, Canadian rapper Drake premiered a remix single, featuring him, of Dave's song "Wanna Know" on OVO Sound Radio which became Dave's first entry on the UK Singles Chart.[6] Dave released his second EP Game Over in 2017, with its lead single "No Words" featuring rapper MoStack peaking in the top 20 on the UK Singles Chart. He later released "Funky Friday" featuring British rapper Fredo in 2018 which debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart, becoming his first number-one single. Dave's debut album, Psychodrama (2019), debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and went on to win the Mercury Prize.

Dave made his acting debut in the Netflix series Top Boy season three which was released in September 2019.[7]
