Описание: United Party for National Development- UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema has been declared as the winner of the 2021 Presidential general election.

Electoral Commission of Zambia ECZ Chairperson and Returning Officer Justice ESAU CHULU declared Mr. Hichilema as duly Zambia 's President Elect around 02:00 hours this morning.

Mr. Hichilema polled 2-million 8-hundred and 10-thousand 7-hundred and 57 votes.

He was declared winner from the results of one hundred and fifty five constituencies, short of one, as the consolidation of votes from Mandevu constituency were not tallied.

President Elect Hichilema was followed by his rival President Edgar Lungu of the Patriotic Front with one million eight hundred and fourteen thousand two hundred and one.

Democratic Party President Harry Kalaba took the third slot with twenty four thousand eight hundred and seventy nine votes.

Andyford Banda of People's Alliance for Change - PAC who wais in the fourth position had polled 19 thousand 8 hundred and 4.

Socialist Party President Fred Mmembe grabbed the fifth position, with 16 thousand 3 hundred and 79 votes.

Other presidential contenders who had trailed in the Presidential race with minimal votes were Party of National Unity and Progress President Highvie Hamududu, MMD's Nevers Mumba, New Heritage Party President Chishala Kateka, United Prosperous Zambia Presid
nt Charles Chanda.

Others are Unip's Trevour Mwamba, Narep 's Stephen Nyirenda, PEP's Sean Tembo, EFF's Kasonde Mwenda, Third Liberation Movement 's Enock Tonga, ZUSD's Lazarus Chisela and Leadership Movement 's Richard Silumbe.
