WHEN A TOWN IS TAKEN OVER BY BIKERS! THE BIG CALNE BIKE MEET

Описание: Thousands of bikers turn out for the Calne Bike Meet - a unique event in the motorcycling calendar taking place on the last Saturday of July every year.
The event is free to attend which also encourages locals to be involved.

This was my first time in 2024, I was amazed at the liberal attitude of the towns officials in allowing bikers to park up anywhere within reason. Some roads were also only accessible for bikers & the locals appeared to love the atmosphere of the event!

The first Calne Bike Meet was held back in 2000 when two local motorcycle enthusiasts and two charity organisers from Calne Rotary invited a few local motorcycle clubs into the town. Calne Bike Meet has now grown to be recognised as a major event locally, nationally and beyond.
