Progress video on my restoration project for the mobile phone features in Pokemon Crystal on the Nintendo Gameboy Color. The Japanese version of the game contained server features that were not localized and partially removed in their international releases.
While I currently have work to do on properly formatting the in game menus, this video showcases entering the trade center for the mobile adapter for peer to peer connections. The menus allow you to call or receive a call from a friend with the same type of adapter to trade or battle with them. You could also select from a list of friends you added or exchanged "cards" with. You were limited to so much time per day(if enabled) as it would cost minutes/airtime to use this functionality.
