Now for the first time in Australia to celebrate the Who's 50th anniversary, Three of Australia's finest singers have banded together to create an unforgettable tribute to one of the greatest rock bands of all time.
Simon Meli is your quintessential rock 'n' roller. His love of 70's rock is evident in both his look and sound - he takes his cue from Led Zeppelin, The Black Crowes and Lenny Kravitz. He has been performing professionally for more than 10 years, and tours regularly with his band 'The Widowbirds'. Eager to appear on The Voice, Simon interrupted his bands tour and flew 30 hours from Stockholm especially for The Voice audition.
Ciaran Gribbin joined INXS in 2011 as their singer and co-songwriter and has since toured extensively with the band. Ciaran has just co-written a song for the new movie 'Imagined' starring Al Pacino, Annette Bening, and Jennifer Garner which is due for release in 2014. Prior to INXS he played he played countless shows with many artists including Paul McCartney, The Script, Gotye & Paolo Nutini amongst others. As a songwriter he co-wrote Madonna's Grammy nominated 'Celebration' and wrote, recorded and produced all of the original songs for the Irish music-based movie 'Killing Bono'.
Steve Balbi has transformed from one of Australia's leading songwriters, first with Noiseworks, followed by Electric Hippies, to become a dynamic solo performer. His compelling music and unique style transcends generations. After playing sell-out concerts, touring the world and receiving numerous awards including three ARIA Double Platinum Records and three ARIA Gold Records, Steve emerged from the darker side of rock 'n' roll with an energy and authenticity that has created an underground swell amongst new fans. Steve connects with his audience through his genuine and powerful performances.
