If your child has separation anxiety, this can be very difficult for you and them. It's so hard to watch them get so sad and have a hard time when you leave. You mentioned that you have a babysitter that is going to be coming over. If the babysitter can be a consistent person, that would be best because then your child becomes familiar with them. You may choose to bring your babysitter over when you're going to be there, and [your child can] see you interact with the babysitter, and that will help them know this is a safe person that they can trust. You can also try letting the babysitter hold your child while you're there to see how they react.
Persistence and distraction are going to be the keys. After a few days of leaving your child with this babysitter, it might be difficult, your child might cry, but eventually they'll learn to trust this babysitter and hopefully it won't be so bad for you and them when you leave. You can also try just distracting them. Take her in another room with the babysitter, and then you can leave and the child won't see the dramatic moment when you leave the house and she is left without you. Try those things. I hope that things go well for you, and after a week or two, hopefully everything will be just fine. If you have any other questions for me, feel free to ask them on our Facebook page, and recommend us to your friends and family too.
