Rottnest Island in One Day: Quokkas, Beaches & Big Winds! - EP 164 AS Nomads

Описание: Join us for a windy but unforgettable day on Rottnest Island, home of the world-famous quokkas! Our ferry ride over was seriously rough with 45 km/h winds, but once we stepped onto the island, we grabbed some push bikes and set off to explore.

From riding across the island to meeting curious quokkas, enjoying coastal views of the Indian Ocean, and visiting The Basin and Pinky's Bar — this turned into one of our favourite day trips near Perth.

We also share some useful tips for visiting:
• E-bikes are often unavailable after opening time
• Where to see quokkas
• What to expect on windy days
• A reminder to never feed or handle the quokkas (heavy fines!)

Despite the weather, the strong winds, and the challenge of push bikes, we had a fantastic day — and even managed a few quokka selfies!
