Lawson, Missouri-based Gary Jones, owner of SPB Trucking, showed off his latest custom build at the 2025 Mid-America Trucking Show -- this short-hood 1979 Peterbilt 359.
He bought the truck from custom truck builder Charley Peaster about five years ago but just got around to building the truck this year.
With fresh paint, new lights, plenty of custom parts and more, the day cab stood out from the crowd at MATS.
On top of the impressive look of the truck, perhaps even more impressive is that the 46-year-old unit has just 630,000 original miles on it and is still equipped with the original B-model Cat.
