Synopsis:
Destiny 2: Lightfall sees the Witness and its new Disciple, Emperor Calus, launch a full-scale invasion of Earth, seeking a mysterious artifact called the Veil, hidden on the secret human city of Neomuna on Neptune, to achieve a second Collapse. Guardians, alongside Neomuna's protectors, the Cloud Striders, race Calus to the Veil, discovering a new Darkness power called Strand and fighting new enemies like the Shadow Legion and Tormentors. The expansion culminates with the Witness gaining access to the Veil, using a Guardian's Ghost to open a portal to the Traveler, leaving it incapacitated and setting the stage for The Final Shape.
