Addressing the gathering, Rahul alleged that PM Modi struck a deal with the United States that could harm India’s interests and farmers. He further claimed that the Prime Minister is under pressure in connection with the Epstein files and the Gautam Adani issue. Rahul accused the government of compromising India’s and farmers’ data as part of trade negotiations.

He also alleged that, for the first time in India’s history, the Leader of Opposition was not allowed to speak in the Lok Sabha. Referring to former Army Chief Manoj Mukund Naravane and his book, Rahul claimed the government left the Army leadership isolated during the China border intrusion issue.

The rally, named Kisan Mahapanchayat, was organized to oppose the India-US trade agreement. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and other senior leaders were present. Kharge accused the Modi government of betraying farmers and questioned why the Prime Minister is not discussing the issue in his “Chai Pe Charcha” program.

The political confrontation over the trade deal and farmers’ concerns has intensified ahead of key developments.
