PNI IP655B camera can be controlled from mobile devices through the dedicated CamHi application compatible with Android and iOS, and from the PC through the HiP2P Client software. The installation file of the PC application can be found on the CD included in the package.

Human detection

PNI IP655B camera comes with a special and unique function, named human detection, different from the standard motion detection feature. What exactly does this function do? The camera identifies the human silhouette (people) that is moving in the frame, markes it and triggers an alarm, starts recording or sends a notification. The alarm actions are: photo or video saved on the SD card (purchased separately), notifications on the smartphone in the app, photo sent by e-mail, photo and video uploaded in the FTP server.

Pan/Tilt/Zoom

The camera offers the the possibility to remotely control the rotation: 355° horizontally, and 120° vertically for a much wider and almost complete view of the protected area.

Another useful function is the 5X optical zoom, which allows zooming in for more details. Whether you zoom in or zoom out, the image always will be clear and sharp.

Wireless transmission

Firstly, connect the camera to your router with the included Ethernet cable and plug it in with the included power adapter.

Secondly, download the App and install it to your phone.

Tap the icon “Add Camera”

Tap “LAN Search” to find the camera and put the camera password in.

Click on “Done”.

From the Settings menu, connect the camera to the desired WiFi network.
