And while the mere mention of "fake news" immediately drums up the topics of politics and news, (thankfully) this game focuses on the later so it won't cause any political arguments at your next get-together.

In the game of Fake News, players try to make up headlines and are judged on whether their headline makes the cut to earn you points, or if it's deemed "Fake News."

During each round, one player takes on the role of "audience" while other players try to match the topic cards in their hands to one of the image cards displayed on the table to create a witty headline that will appeal to said audience. Once cards are placed players must then announce, in their best newscaster voice, their headline. The audience then hand down their verdict of three points, two points, and fake news (zero points) using their tokens. The player at the end of the game with the most points wins.
