Home Assistant Automation using Triggers and Trigger IDs

Описание: Thank you for watching. In this video we describe how to use Triggers and Trigger IDs to expand the capabilities of automations in Home Assistant.

Triggers IDs act as variables storing information about a trigger in an automation. This allows you to create complex automations that track multiple triggers, allowing information to be passed to make a choice about what action to take. This allows you to create decision logic and to change the behaviour of an automation based on other factors.
