Land use refers to the way that land is used or developed, and understanding land-use patterns and issues can help us to address environmental, social, and economic challenges.
This short video is intended to be a "minds on" or "action" activity for students in a geography class. While it was designed to connect to the Ontario Grade 8 geography curriculum (see curriculum expectations below), it can be used by a number of different programs relating to the topics of Global Settlement: Patterns and Sustainability.
