Описание: Ten exceptional educators are now Fort Worth ISD Chairs for Teaching Excellence.

The Chairs for Teaching Excellence Program recognizes outstanding classroom teachers with a $5,000 reward and the honorary titles of Chairs for Teaching Excellence for one year.

Teachers go through a rigorous selection process including an application, letters of recommendation, a panel interview, and submitting a recorded lesson.

Chairs for Teaching Excellence is made possible by the incredible support of the Fort Worth community and our sponsors.

The 2025-26 Chairs of Teaching Excellence are:

KaCee Dobbins at Diamond Hill-Jarvis High School is the Broadway at the Bass Chair for Teaching Excellence in Dance and Theatre.
Monique Gillaspy at Ridglea Hills Elementary School is the Central Market Chair for Teaching Excellence in Early Childhood Education.
Christa Martien Chanthavongsy at Mclean Middle School is the Friedman Chair for Teaching Excellence in Performing Arts.
Briana Welch at Seminary Hills Park Elementary School is the Cook Children’s Chair for Teaching Excellence in Special Education.
Kenneth Amos at Polytechnic High School is the J.P. Morgan Chase Chair for Teaching Excellence in Secondary English.
Marie Vinson at Seminary Hills Park Elementary School is the Linebarger, Groggan, Blair & Sampson, LLP Chair for Teaching Excellence in Elementary Reading.
Matthew "Crash" Rose at Arlington Heights High School is the Meta Chair for Teaching Excellence in Career and Technical Education.
Jerrett Lyday at I.M. Terrell Academy is the Sewell Lexus & Infinity of Fort Worth Chair for Teaching Excellence in Humanities.
Erica Del Rio at Glen Park Elementary School is the Tarleton State University Chair for Teaching Excellence in Science or Math.
