Drawing inspiration from the beautiful bouquets handed out at the Kentucky Derby, Allie shows us an easy netting technique that beaders of all skill levels can use. You'll feel like a winner when you wear these dazzling Kentucky Earrings.

Collect your Potomac crystals, Miyuki seed beads and flower post. Using a size 11 needle thread twelve crystal rounds, each separated by an 11/0. Make sure you end with a seed bead. Pull the thread into a circle. Pick up three 11/0 seed beads and attach to the top of the crystal your thread is coming out of. Keep adding three 11/0s around the exterior.

Add a secondary 11/0 in between each crystal. Put in two 15s between each of the 11/0. Watch the Kentucky Earrings tutorial to see how to add in the crystal oval.

Add the earwire flower post. Sew from the back to the front. Sew back through the back to the first thread end and tie off.
