I am travelling to Cebu in a few days so I am having a final walk around the Guadalupe neighbourhood. I need to get a quick haircut and buy some vegetables to go with the pork left in the freezer. I feel like I am really in The Philippines here with a decent market, Jeepney station and general hustle and bustle of daily life in the city.
My name is Steve and I retired in 2021. I have lived in Asia for 20 years but always worked in cities due to work. I came to The Philippines in March 2022 and now plan on visiting the provinces where the locals live to find out more about more about their culture. I choose The Philippines because it doesn't matter where I am it's always close to the sea.
