Here's a quick recap of some of the highlights encountered during the recommissioning of "TWC", my 1972 Invacar Model 70 - the blue three-wheeler build specifically for wheelchair users. It uses a Steyr-Puch 493cc aircooled flat twin engine (not Villiers) allied to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). It sat in a field for 14 years before I found it, dragged it home and coaxed it into life. TWC 725K.
The project didn't go smoothly - I broke the first engine and had a right battle with the brakes and electrics - but I got there in the end! This video covers everything from the field find to first engine start and first drive! I'll cover some of the adventures we've had since in a future video.
