This presentation has sampled some clips from the brilliant ABC Australia documentary series, Cricket in the 70s/80s.
Many of Australia's most iconic players were in Kerry Packer's rebel World Series Cricket competition, heavily promoted and broadcast on commercial television, and banned from playing any kind of 'official' cricket. It's fascinating look at how things were going for the Australian Cricket Board national team in comparison, on and off the field. Their efforts have been perhaps a little underappreciated.
