Описание: I keep falling for the Black girl boredom! Also known as looking up new degrees, certifications or creating jobs for yourself instead of investing in time for rest, healing and play.

ABOUT THE EVENT

TENDER is a one-hour contemplative gathering rooted in the poetry of Lucille Clifton and grounded in ecowomanist theology, a framework that holds together the liberation of Black women, the flourishing of all living things, and the sacred call to honor our created nature.
We will sit with one poem. We will breathe together. We will reflect on what it means to live into who you were made to be and what gets in the way.
This gathering draws my time with the ecopreacher cohort at The BTS Center, and my fellowship research studying Lucille Clifton's personal archives at Emory University. Her words have been my companions in the archives and in the pulpit. Now I want to bring them into community with you.
You do not have to be Christian to belong here. You just have to be willing to show up and pay attention.
