With the single Corpus, Tsukimi moves closer to unexpected sounds, moving from dark ambient to something that, in part, also approaches the world of dungeon synth. However , a laid-back, relaxing setting is still maintained, thanks in part to the influence of artists "hovering between the two genres" such as Aindulmedir.
The idea behind the single is to create a deep sense of austerity and spiritual power. The emotions it is supposed to evoke are those that might manifest in the highest and most poignant moments of some ritual, in which a body is immolated to something bigger than us.
The calm and repetitive atmospheres will surely catch the full attention of lovers of the genre, who will surely be enraptured by the project's brief, but intense, new gem.
