House Celtigar of Claw Isle is one of the three surviving Valyrian houses in Westeros, alongside House Targaryen and House Velaryon.
Though they possessed immense wealth, ancient lineage, and even a rare Valyrian steel weapon, the Celtigars never produced dragonriders and rarely played a dominant role in the politics of the Seven Kingdoms. Instead, they often found themselves serving the Iron Throne as royal treasurers — sometimes with disastrous consequences.
