The Customer Cancellation Conundrum - What Would You Do? A Frustrating Story!

Описание: So funny story, we had a customer call us up the other day and basically give us a cancellation notice / ultimatum on whether or not we wanted to keep them on as a customer. It was a crazy and funny story that just took me by surprise, and I had to share it.

Now you guys know that I love my business and I love my customers, but that doesn't mean from time to time I don't get frustrated. We had a customer essentially let us know that we were getting canceled unless we wanted to perform the same work the "new company" was going to provide.

Let me be clear, it was basically a lateral move for the customer. They wanted the landscape beds trimmed down every other week, and cut down all the tall grass and weeds in their overgrown front bed.

I basically told the customer no, we are not there to whip down your weeds, that's called landscaping. The customer said fine, we'll try the new guy out. The best part, the customer ending the phone call with "well, if he doesn't work out, we'll just come back to you".
